important information about tonight’s performance
(March 3 2023)
As you are likely aware, there was a significant fire on the 700 block of Main Street Wednesday, three doors down from the venue for tonight’s show. As of now the venue, Ink Euphoria, is open for business and our show is still on. However, there are some important things to know. The most important thing is that as of today, the 700 Block of Main Street is closed to pedestrian and vehicle traffic, as is the 700 block of Washington Street. This impacts access to the venue in several ways:
If coming by car, you’ll need to find parking away from that block. There should be parking available on Main Street going North, or on Goodell to the East, and if all else fails there are pay lots on Pearl Street.
The block is only accessible by foot from the corner of Main and Goodell. Please do not attempt to enter that block from the South (from Main and Tupper.) We will have at least one person outside directing you to the event from the corner of Main and Goodell.
The block is the site of an active investigation. Please do not take photos or walk past our venue towards the 745 Main St., the building affected by the fire.
We have been in communication with Buffalo Police Department B District. They are aware of our event and have given us the instructions being relayed to you here. Here is a map showing you where to access the block:
Also: Ink Euphoria is not ADA accessible at this time, and the path from the street to the venue, while clear of obstruction, might pose difficulty for folks who have limited mobility.
If you have purchased a ticket and would like a refund due to these circumstances, please send us an email at email@buffaloimprovhouse.house
Finally: Our hearts go out to the family and loved ones of firefighter Jason Arno who lost his life battling the blaze. We will be collecting donations tonight which will go directly to the firefighter’s family.
Thank you!
